Steel Plastic Geogrid
Steel plastic geogrid is a kind of composite high-strength tensile strip made of high-strength steel wire, polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) and other additives after special treatment and extrusion. The single strip is arranged vertically and horizontally according to a certain distance, and is welded by ultrasonic wave.
Steel plastic geogrid has a rough surface, which greatly increases the friction coefficient between geogrid and the soil. Its high friction coefficient increases the bearing capacity and stability of soil, therefore, steel plastic geogrid effectively enhances the bearing capacity of foundation and prevents the soil from lateral displacement.
