Product Description

HDPE composite film is also known as high-density polyethylene film, HDPE geomembrane, HDPE impermeable film, HDPE film is a plastic membrane composed of HDPE, HDPE is a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin. HDPE in its raw state has a milky white appearance and is somewhat translucent in its thin cross-sections.PE has excellent resistance to most household and industrial chemicals. Certain types of chemicals can produce chemical corrosion, such as corrosive oxidants (concentrated nitric acid), aromatic hydrocarbons (xylene) and halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride).

This standard specifies the classification and naming of polyethylene geomembranes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection specifications, marking, packaging, transport and storage.

This standard applies to polyethylene geomembranes produced from polyethylene resin and ethylene copolymers with various additives.
